The two ladies in the photo are L-R Harriett Swartzmiller and Sunny Roberts who have been walking together most mornings since August 1981. They are next door neighbors on 32nd Ave and by their calculations have walked together approximately 16,500 miles during the past 41 years. That distance is more than 3 round trips from St. Petersburg to Seattle. NO, they are not holding hands although it appears that they are.
